  2. Glad to hear that you are settling in. Every adventure starts out with missing what you are used to. For example, we find the house too quiet just now.

  3. Glad you are there and settling in. Give yourself time to get in a rhythm. Soon everything will become more familiar to you and you will be more comfortable. Change is both scary and exciting. Enjoy.

    1. Don’t think we need that!! LOL. Only camping we will be doing is in our bedroom or a hotel from time to time. You are more than welcome to come and visit, and bring it along if you want to!!! Nice comfortable bed for Colleen, nice mosquito proof tent for you!!!

  4. Wow, it looks so beautiful there! Meanwhile we are freezing up here. I made vegetable beef soup for potluck at the zoo today. Trying to stay warm!๐Ÿ˜ฌ

    1. Sorry to hear that it is so cold. The temp here is about 75 this afternoon, same as yesterday. same as tomorrow. Ho hum. This is what we thought we would experience weather wise, and we are not disappointed. Any time you and your wife want to come down to spend a week or two in the warmth of the tropics, just let us know and hopefully we can make it happen. The country is indeed beautiful. Going to the Pacific tomorrow for a couple of days, will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park. I’ll take lots of pics to post on the blog. Take care. Say hi to all at the zoo.

      1. Will do Tim, just so you know itโ€™s gotten even colder here. Down to the single digits. You guys made the right decision to leave when you did. Miss you guys a lot!

Thanks for the invite, I would be there in a minute if I could. However, we are loving our time with the grandchildren.

  5. Well, its gotten even colder here, we are now at -15, no travel advised. I loved your trip to Panama and trips into the National Parks. Your photos are awesome as well. I love the stories about learning Spanish, computer problems, the native people, your neighbors, the animals; so beautiful.
Meanwhile back here at the Zoo, Sarah and Stu are looking forward to their trips to Costa Rica. That means I might have to take on the responsibility for the Microphone in the tropics, with Stu gone, Jimmy out with an unfortunate stroke and Richard out with the unfortunate diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
Otherwise all is well back here, thanks for sharing your adventure! Wish I was there to help you out with a few Spanish words, you will know more than I when you return.
